CDU's Puppy Day Camp is unlike any other "dog daycare" program around. While puppies enjoy ample, supervised play time throughout the day, the environment is uniquely structured for optimal learning during socialization with other dogs and people.
Other daycare programs allow puppies to do what they want when they want, which creates a free-for-all setting that facilitates selective listening to humans, improper greetings and interactions with other dogs, and even leash reactivity.
Remember, puppies are always learning and each lesson learned creates either a positive or negative habit! At CDU's Puppy Day Camp, we teach positive habits that will last a lifetime.
Puppies need both mental and physical stimulation to really thrive. CDU's Puppy Day Camp provides both opportunities in a fun environment. Each day your puppy will come home tired and better trained. A report card is sent home at the end of each session to keep you informed as your puppy progresses.
CDU's indoor and outdoor play areas provide for an interactive and varying experience for your puppy during their day-stay. After an initial evaluation of your puppy's temperament and play style, we place your puppy in one of 2 or 3 groups for a safe and enjoyable time.
This program is a great fit for people who have busy schedules during the day and want a well socialized, trained and social puppy. Without the right kind of supervision, your puppy can develop and learn bad habits such as barking, chewing, house soiling, destructive behavior, inappropriate behavior, etc. At Colorado Dog University's Puppy Day Camp, we have a minimum of two fully-trained Puppy Day Camp Counselors on staff to work with your puppy.
CDU ensures a safe and sanitary environment for your four-legged family member. We welcome healthy puppies that are dog and people friendly between 4 and 8 months that have received three rounds of core vaccines (Distemper/Parvo) and Bordetella.
